Nicolás is a media artist, audiovisual designer and art director.

As an artist, his practice arises from the deep observation of the landscape to understand space as a field of relationships. In his video installations and live sets, video and light converge with high-tech materials and organic elements in a poetic-visual language that articulates hybrid spaces of exchange guided by the senses. In these spaces, the digital materiality of the image and the physical presence of bodies are distorted, blurring the recognizable boundaries between human and non-human, body and environment, organic and synthetic. His works are thus essays on modes of coexistence in which the human, far from being the center, dissolves into continuums of matter, image, and technology, questioning the borders between the interior and the exterior.

As a designer, he directed his own motion studio in Buenos Aires for more than a decade. In recent years, he has focused on spatial and unconventional formats, working independently with artists, museums, galleries, events, theater productions, and design agencies across various countries in the Americas and Europe.

He served as a Professor for the University of Buenos Aires, Graphic Design degree, for 15 years. He currently lives in Spain and collaborates with AADK Spain, an international contemporary art platform.
